Faven's Birthday

Uncle Key Key, Aunty Meggy and the rest of the McPeak gang came to the party, too!

We celebrated Faven's 2nd birthday the day after Thanksgiving, on her birthday. After her nap, Joey occupied Faven while Layla and I decorated her (bakery) birthday cake. Since the Winnie the Pooh obsession is still going strong, Layla came up with the perfect theme. Yeah. You guessed it.

Layla has been asking all week for M&Ms so I bought a giant bag for her to strategically place on top of the cake, as well as a sparkly #2 candle. She also stuck a few characters on top of the cake, too. Walla! Best sister and parents of the year!

Faven only ate the icing. Maybe one M&M. Just maybe.

I'm not sure, but Faven might have called her beautiful birthday cake a pancake. Big sis corrected her right away.

She got a few special gifts that will definitely make the move to PA including, Duplo Legos, Winne the Pooh Disney characters, bath crayons, a fluffy new skirt, Elf on a Shelf book and a bike.

Faven also got a surprise delivery in the mail. Two soft teddy bears and giant Dora and Winnie the Pooh balloons from Grandma Nani who lives in Ethiopia. Faven kept reminding us that her balloons were from Nani!! Both Faven and Layla LOVE balloons and played with them just like they would a new toy.

We sold just about everything in our house, including our table. We are one close family!

Faven's Great Aunt Kiddie got her an awesome new shiny red bike for her birthday. Although, Faven doesn't feel the need to pedal (she can pedal a tad when she tries), she scoots around. Come Spring, after the Pittsburgh snow melts away, she will have a blast riding her big girl bike!
