Molly, almost 2 years old, and Layla play really well together. When Molly showed us her new big girl room, the first thing Layla did was gasp at the site of a 53" bear sitting on her bed. After wresting with the bear, they calmed down a bit and read books to each other.
Later that evening at home, I told Joey how happy Layla was to meet Emily and, more importantly in her mind, an enormous bear at Molly's house. I showed him a picture Jamie, posted on Facebook (see above) and we knew what we had to do. Get pregnant. Nope. Buy a bear!
On Sunday, Joey, Layla, Faven and I took a trip to Costco in search for a bear twice the size of Layla. Right before we got in line to pay for our year supply of toilet paper and not much else, we asked Layla to look behind her at a mountain of bears. She couldn't believe that her and Faven could take one home.Layla and Daddy named the bear, Jenny. Not sure why they chose that name. Jenny lives in the basement but the first night we let Jenny sleep with Layla in her room. Jenny is talked about often in house now just like she is part of the family.
Faven doesn't think Jenny is a big deal. From the way Faven looks at Jenny, good chance she believes Jenny will come alive at any moment. Layla thinks that Faven only likes Jenny's toes because that is as close as she ever got to it.

Layla looks like she's in heaven..For now be thankful that Faven doesn't go near it. Layla most likely loves it that way.. hhah
Exactly. We did end up buying a bean bag a few weeks ago. Clearly, they aren't as excited about that purchase.
