Just this past weekend, my two girl friends, their kids, the Yacob girls and I went to Scottsdale's most popular kid event of the summer, Mud Mania 2011!
They had impressive obstacle courses, huge mud pits, mounds of sand, gigantic slip and slides, and many more sloppy activities. Curious infants, tentative toddlers, brave big kids and even wild and crazy young teens were fully entertained. Our kids were as clean as a whistle compared to the others. Check out these super muddy kids at Mud Mania here. Maybe next year Molly, Connor, Layla and Faven will take the plunge into one of many mud pits at Mud Mania 2012.

We didn't make it down the big kid slide into the mud pit, but we did manage to find a mud filled pool in the baby and toddler area. Not too dirty, not too clean... just right for Miss Layla.
I dressed Layla in cloths that I didn't like. I think these pink shoes are still sitting in the backyard waiting to be hosed off. That isn't dry skin, that's dried mud on her legs.
Faven slept 75% of the time. She woke up to chug a bottle of milk and dance to Disney Radio blaring in the background. Nice life.
