Layla is finally taking a slight interest in 8 week old sister, Faven. We had to train Layla to acknowledge that her sister was even in the room and that it's only polite to say "hello". I understand that the letter "f" is a difficult letter for a toddler to pronounce, but Layla refuses to try to say her name. However, recently Layla has been calling Faven, "sister". We love it...and it works for now. Lucky for Layla, Faven is a quiet little girl who rarely sheds a tear. This has allowed for an easier transition from an only child to a big sister. It's still a work in progress, but Layla's jealously is dwindling...slowly but surely. We love watching there relationship grow as Faven expresses herself more everyday.

Hello, Sister!
