Yacob Pumpkin Marathon (Part 1)

Let me tell you about the Yacob Pumpkin Marathon (2 blog posts)! We started the day big on Saturday morning and didn't quit until 7pm at night. Firstly, we took a drive out west to a pumpkin patch, best described as a farm on Ritalin. This place was extremely kid friendly but maybe not "young toddler" friendly. The farm offered pony rides, pumpkin painting, a petting zoo (even an ostrich bird), corn mazes, tomato launchers (the noise of the air gun scared Layla every time), hay climbing walls, toy water features, ladybug tractor train rides, slides, moon bounces, and the list goes on. We happened to go at the busiest time of day, so it was a lot to take in for all of us, not just for Layla. While 100+ kids ran around station to station soaking in all the farm had to offer, Layla did more observing. She enjoyed looking at the farm animals and walking through the corn maze the best.

Not to sure about climbing this hay stack...

More interested in her shadow than finding a way out of the corn maze.

Telling Mommy a thing or two about goats.
