Halloween Veteran

As if we couldn't get enough of pumpkins....

Layla went out trick-or-treating for the second time in her life. She isn't a rookie when it comes to collecting candy...eating it is another story. She tried a piece of chocolate and spit it out. Can you believe it? Wasting candy, what a shame. She did, however, devour (half) a homemade pumpkin cupcake topped with cream cheese icing without a problem, compliments of Erin, earlier that day.

Friends. Enough said.

Here she is showing Grammy and Pap-pap her bucket of candy on Skype like she does every year.

Layla did a nice job walking up to a few houses in our neighborhood. She didn't dare stick her hand in the bowls of candy. Layla patiently stood there waiting for candy to be dropped in her orange bucket. Well, at least she didn't run away or cry. Like a said, a true trick-or-treating veteran.
