Here she is fighting the pain. She told me she wasn't sad because of the hairdo her Nanny gave her at daycare, I swear. We were a little nervous that at one year Layla was without a tooth. All gums, baby! We started to blame every diaper rash, temper tantrum, and drenched t-shirt on teething starting when she was about 3 months old. From 9 months on, every week (sometimes each day) Grammy would call and ask me if she got a tooth. She was getting a bit obsessive ;) . Her gummy mouth didn't hold her back. She ate most solid foods cut up in extra small pieces just fine.
In a matter of a week, two big teeth came down just like a little bunny. One tooth on the bottom poked through, as well. Layla is handling the pain of teething pretty well. Just a bit moody. Not to mention that she is trying to fight an ear infection and a bad cold. Who can blame her. She is doing great given the circumstances.
