We are all about taking trips to the library. In fact, we went 3 times just last week. We checked out around 10 books and participated in Story Time and Shake Rattle and Roll sessions (30 minutes each). Layla loves reading about Clifford the Big Red Dog, Arthur and Curious George. Layla is starting to read more and more on her own which is always a plus!
JY and I recently came to the realization that we haven't been reading to Faven as much as we did to Layla at her age (9 months). I'm glad we pointed that out to each other because we are now making a bigger effort to get her more interested in books. Reading to Faven is part of her bedtime and occasionally her nap time routines, but we both think that it's not enough. We hope to sprinkle in more reading into her playtime, too.
