My parents planned their visit perfectly so they could celebrate their first grandchild's 1st birthday and their little girl's 27th birthday. Wow, the Yacob girls are getting old! Also, I had to have nose surgery to fix an old break and deviated septum a few days before they arrived so their help around the house was much appreciated. Timing couldn't have been better! I think Grammy and Pap-pap didn't mind leaving 2 feet of snow in Pittsburgh to soak up sunny 70 degree weather in Scottsdale. The grandparents took Layla and boxer, Jada on several hour+ walks every day. Layla loves watching birds flying in the sky and ducks swimming in the nearby ponds. On the last day of my parents visit, Layla welcomed my dad in the room by saying "pap-pap". We miss you!
Just a few days after my doctor removed the splint, Layla smacked my nose with her sippy cup. Ouch!
