I haven't been in Pittsburgh to celebrate Thanksgiving for over 10 years; mainly because of volleyball related activities and, more recently, finding/taking the time off from work/school to travel across the country. Layla spent quality time with the McPeak family and enjoyed her first Thanksgiving with her new entourage. She learned a few "tricks" over the course of the week, too. Layla has now masterd high fives/tens, toot-toot motion, clicking sound with her tongue, crawling, and much much more. When she finally settled into the overwhelming McPeak household, she fit right in. We can't wait to take the trip back to the burgh (and Ohio) in just a few short weeks. Happy Holidays!
Here is Aunt Megan entertaining with an animal "pop-up" book she bought her, which as you can see here, she couldn't get enough of!
One evening, Emma and Layla spent an entire evening at Grandma's while my bestfriend, Julie and I met up with friends. Great quality time! Thanks for watching the kids, Mom!
