Joey and I bought Jada when she was about 8 weeks old and goodness has she grown! Jada is now 1 year old and weighs in at about 40 pounds. As a first time dog owner, she was a lot of hard work...more so for Joey since he is the light sleeper.Just like taking care of a baby, right? I have heard that it's much much much more demanding but is good practice! He reminded me that when our (future) baby cries at night that I will be the one on my feet first given that I store his/her food. For now, Jada is our only child and we love her.
