6 weeks along - 4th of July in Pittsburgh During my long weekend visiting my family in Pittsburgh, PA it was extremely difficult to keep the pregger news on the "DL" (down-low). I planned an exciting white water rafting trip at Ohio Pile for my friends and I with my sister Emily many weeks in advance. However, the rough waters would be just too much for my blueberry size of a baby so I had to pass on the opportunity. The group had an awesome time according to Emily's dramatic stories she shared later that evening. I had to tell a small fib to all my closest friends that I hurt my shoulder playing sand volleyball the week before and my doctor forbid me to go. Maybe next year!
